Simpsons Crystal Medium Dark 55 lb

An addition to our range of high-quality malts in 2022, Crystal Medium Dark - as you can probably guess by the name - expertly bridges the gap in specification between our Crystal Medium and Crystal Dark products.

It is recommended that Crystal Medium Dark is used up to 15% in brews and it is a fantastic color and flavor adjuster. It helps to bring golden to red hues to beers - making it ideal for the likes of Amber Ales, Red Ales and Red IPAs - while its flavors of caramel, hints of toffee and a slight roastiness also ensure it can bring a little sweetness to darker beers like Dark Milds, Brown Ales and Porters.
