Kerry Tastesense™ Sweet/Mouthfeel Flavoring is a low-calorie flavor and body enhancer and does not cause refermentation. Made with low-calorie, plant-derived ingredients, it imparts clean sweetness perception, full-bodied mouthfeel with no off-notes, and taste profile optimization.
Recommended usage rate is 0.02% – 0.13% w/w in a finished food or beverage product with a maximum use rate of 0.10% w/w in the United States.
For hard seltzer applications, we recommend a usage rate somewhere between 0.04%-0.06. When doing product development, we are typically using it at 0.05%. This will provide sweet modulation very similar to the other hard seltzers on the market.
