Cryo Columbus ® 11 lb

Columbus is a super high alpha variety and is primarily used for bittering purposes. Originally selected by Charles Zimmerman for Hopunion, Inc., Columbus is a descendant of Nugget and often referred to as CTZ, a trio of similar hops including Tomahawk® and Zeus.

Aroma Profile: Citrus, Dank, Earthy, Woody

Brewing Application: Excellent bittering capability as originally intended, but craft brewers have also harnessed CTZ’s intense, citrus-and-spice pungeance for American-style IPAs.
