High urea is associated with the formation of harmful ethyl carbamate in wine. The Urea/Ammonia (Rapid) Assay Kit allows measurement of both urea and ammonia in wine samples using a manual spectrophotometer, and has a total reaction time for 10 minutes. Each kit contains reagents for 100 assays (50 of each) using a standard manual spectrophotometer or 200 tests using the MegaQuant™ Wave. All reagents are stable for >2 years.
