The Primary Amino Nitrogen (NOPA) Assay Kit measures two of the three elements of YAN: primary amino nitrogen and L-arginine.

The Primary Amino Nitrogen (PANOPA) Assay Kit measures two of the three elements of YAN: primary amino nitrogen and L-arginine. Ammonia must also be measured in order to calculate total YAN. This novel assay kit has a reaction time of 15 min. Each kit contains reagents for 100 tests using a standard manual spectrophotometer, 200 tests using the MegaQuant™ Wave, 1000 tests using a microplate reader, or 1100 tests using an auto-analyzer. All reagents are stable for >2 years.
