Ascorbic acid is used alongside sulfur dioxide as an antioxidant in white wines, however its concentration in wine is regulated in some markets. The L-Ascorbic Acid (L-Ascorbate) Assay Kit has reaction time of 8 minutes. Each kit contains reagents for 40 tests using a standard manual spectrophotometer, 80 tests using the MegaQuant™ Wave, or 400 tests using an auto-analyzer or microplate reader. All reagents are stable for >2 years.
