These buckets are made from polypropylene, which is less porous than other types of plastic buckets, leading to a decreased risk of harboring pathogens that can contaminate your wine, beer, mead, cider, or other type of fermented beverage.

Both versions of the bucket come with pre-molded threading for accommodating a spigot. The Drilled Bucket has a hole already drilled for the spigot, while the Solid Bucket does not. 

This solid bucket also has a graduation scale, in both gallons and liters, which is molded directly into the side of the bucket.
